Global Music Therapy Day | 25 May | Let the Music Heal

About Global Music Therapy Day | 25 May

Global Music Therapy Day, observed annually on May 25th, serves as the annual global summit for the year-round Music Therapy for All movement. It acts as the official kick-off for Global Music Therapy Month (25 May – 25 June), a high-intensity phase of our 365-day mission to integrate heritage-rooted clinical care into the global healthcare system.”

The movement is powered by Krup Music Heals, the official outreach platform for the Music Therapy for All movement. This initiative ensures that the A.R.J.U.N. Framework—from the GCA Parv modules to universal life-stage wellness—reaches individuals across the globe.

As a core component of the Global Clubfoot Awareness Parv (GCAP) movement, this day highlights the “Music Therapy for All” initiative. It specifically addresses the 30-40% relapse rate in clubfoot treatment by introducing heritage-rooted interventions to increase patient compliance and mental resilience during the long-term bracing phase.

Holistic Care: Healing with Heritage

The Healing with Heritage provides the foundational philosophy for this month-long drive. Reclaiming traditional wellness principles, it is implemented through Dr. Krupesh Thacker’s A.R.J.U.N. Framework. This model enhances patient endurance and psychological support, ensuring the “Right to Rise” remains at the center of the treatment journey.

The A.R.J.U.N. Framework modules for Clubfoot

To ensure the “Right to Rise” for every child, the Music Therapy for All initiative implements two dedicated modules designed to navigate the multi-year clubfoot treatment journey:

  • Music Therapy for Clubfoot (Pediatric Module):
Specifically designed for the child, this module uses rhythmic synchronization and Indian Raags to decrease pain perception and increase comfort during casting and bracing. It transforms the medical journey into a creative “Awareness through Arts” experience.
  • Music Therapy for Stress Management (Family Support Module):
Recognizing that the family is the backbone of successful treatment, this module focuses on the mental well-being of parents and caregivers. By reducing anxiety and building spiritual resilience through Healing with Heritage, it ensures high compliance and prevents treatment fatigue—the leading cause of relapse.

The Success Story: From Treatment to Triumph

The efficacy of the integrated Healing with Heritage approach is best demonstrated through the journey of Parv Thacker, the Global Ambassador for the Global Clubfoot Awareness Parv (GCAParv) and the Music Therapy for All movements.

Clinical Case Study: Parv Thacker (Guinness World Record Holder Indian Singer)

  • Prenatal Preparation (Garbhsanskar): The healing journey began at conception through Music Therapy for Pregnancy (Garbhsanskar). When Parv was diagnosed with bilateral clubfoot at month 5 of pregnancy, his mother, Dr. Pooja Thacker, and father, Dr. Krupesh Thacker, strategically increased the intensity of the music therapy support. This was designed to psychologically and physiologically prepare both the parents and the child for the multi-year treatment timeline awaiting him at birth.
  • Integrated Post-Natal Care: Upon birth, Parv began the standard Ponseti Method. To combat the physical and psychological strain of long-term bracing, the parents implemented the A.R.J.U.N. Framework of music therapy. By leveraging the spiritual resilience of the Gunje Gita, they successfully bypassed the treatment fatigue that leads to the global 30–40% relapse rate.
  • Mid-Treatment Achievement: While still in the active bracing phase, Parv’s cognitive and physical development reached extraordinary levels. He became the world’s youngest singer and actor, earning a Guinness World Record at just 2 years old.
  • Global Leadership at Age 8: By age 8, Parv achieved a complete clinical cure and transitioned into a global leadership role. His music—developed from his own therapy—is now part of the “Sounds of Sanatan: Vol. 1” album, an official FYC (For Your Grammy® Consideration) project.

The “Main Bhi Arjun” Leadership

Today, Parv leads both the GCAParv and Music Therapy for All initiatives with the “Main Bhi Arjun” attitude. His journey serves as the definitive proof that the Sanatan Way—commencing from the womb and intensifying at the moment of diagnosis—ensures a child doesn’t just walk, but rises to their full global potential. The extraordinary story of his resilience and the power of Sanatan-rooted healing is being immortalised in the upcoming movie “Main Bhi Arjun: Parv” The film documents his journey from a prenatal diagnosis to a global warrior-ambassador, serving as a cinematic blueprint for the “Right to Rise” philosophy.
